When asked who I believe is the cutest couple in the world, I know without a doubt what my answer is going to be, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally. Though these two arent a dating or married couple, they certainly are a pair.
"She's one hot babe. We learned about each other very quickly. Its just like when you make a friend; from the moment we met we made each other laugh. When we met at our first table reading, we just kinda started this crazy relationship. We feed off each other tremendously. We love each other so much. She's just a wonderful person." Explains Sean speaking of Megan.
"Working with Sean has been one of those great gifts from the gods. We have a very unorthodox flirtation on the show and we have it in real life too. I mean, if he walked in right now, he'd grab my boob and start dry-humping me. And it's mutual. We've confused many people on the set because there is not one part of my body that Sean has not touched, nor me his. And I cant explain it-it's our way of relating. I mean if we were presented to the queen of England, Id probably be grabbing his package. It's almost cloying really, Sean and I bat our eyelashes at each other all day!" Megan describes her relationship with Sean.
Sean and Megan have such incredible timing with one another. They often steal every scene they are in. They're two best friends without a clue as to how the world really is. "A lot of times the funniest characters are those who don't know they've got it all wrong," Mullally said. "Jack and Karen both think they're normal. Well, maybe not normal. They think they've got it right."
Yet even though they are nowhere near normal, their individuality keeps them close to one another. "I think Jack is Karens closest friend. It's an odd friendship, almost sexual in nature. We've done everything on the air but have intercourse."
Sean and Megan are both as energetic and happy off-screen as they are on-screen. "Sean and Megan don't take life that seriously. There is a joie de vivre that comes with their playing these roles. They don't over-think what they're doing, and as a result, they do outrageous stuff." Says Max Mutchnick of Sean and Megan.
Most would agree that Will & Grace should in reality be called Jack & Karen. These two characters, portrayed by two wonderful actors, are found to be the main stitch in the show. Sean and Megan have such incredible talent. The love the two share for one another truly does show. They are and will always be, in my opinion, two of the most talented people in the world.
